Tornado Buddy Bag Program
The Mount Carmel Area School District continues to spearhead a fundraising campaign in an attempt to help fund the “Tornado Buddy Bag” program for the 2018-2019 school year. The program sends home bags of food, every weekend, to needy students and families. Students qualify for free lunch and breakfast during school days, but often don’t have any or enough food for weekends. Your generosity allows those students to have enough to eat throughout the weekend and be more prepared to be good learners every day of the week. Find out more information and how you can help MCA students succeed.
The Mount Carmel Area School District has begun a Red Tornado Legacy Brick Project at the MCA Silver Bowl. All proceeds will go to the general upkeep of the stadium.
Any Tornado Alley brick purchased after May 1, 2018 will be part of our second order. The second order due date is October 1, 2018. Our goal will be to place the bricks at the stadium before the winter weather arrives. Moving forward orders will be placed twice per year: May 1st and October 1st. Contact the JH-SH Principal office for more information. Go Big Red!

On behalf of the entire ThinkBIG committee, we would like to extend a thank you to all of our student leaders, volunteers, participants, community members, and local businesses who made the 6th annual MCA ThinkBIG Dance Marathon a huge success. In the last six years, MCA has raised over $184,000 to give to pediatric cancer patients and their families. Thank you, MCA!!!
