Students manage assignments and grades by logging in to the CSIU Student Information System. Parents are required to do a one-time registration to gain access to all student assignments and grades on the CSIU Parent Portal.
We are currently planning for our 10th summer Kaupas Camp in 2026! The Maria Kaupas Center in Mount Carmel works in conjunction with Bucknell University staff and students to provide a quality experience for Mount Carmel Area Junior High Students (Grades 5 to 8) every summer!
During the camp which is held every June, students will visit Bucknell University to take part in academic, leadership, and athletic activities. In addition, Bucknell staff and athletes visit the MCA Campus to provide and conduct a variety of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) activities during the camp. Safe2Say Something is a youth violence prevention program run by the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General. The program teaches youth and adults how to recognize warning signs and signals, especially within social media, from individuals who may be a threat to themselves or others and to “say something” BEFORE it is too late. Tornado Buddy Bag Program
The Mount Carmel Area School District continues to spearhead a fundraising campaign in an attempt to help fund the “Tornado Buddy Bag” program for the 2026-2027 school year. Find out more information and how you can help MCA students succeed.
The Mount Carmel Area School District has begun a Red Tornado Legacy Brick Project at the MCA Silver Bowl. All proceeds will go to the general upkeep of the stadium. Next Tornado Alley Brick order will be made October 1, 2026.
Tornado Alley is officially SOLD OUT of space for additional 12×12 $250 bricks as of September 14, 2026. Any future order will be considered a “PRE ORDER” as we are looking to expand our project in the near future. $100 4×8 bricks are still available!
