Tornado Buddy Bag Program

The Mount Carmel Area School District has started a fundraising campaign in attempt to raise $2,000 to help fund the “Tornado Buddy Bag” program for the 2017-2018 school year. The program sends home bags of food, every weekend, to needy students and families. MCA is also proud to announce that The LOVE Project (Let Our Valley Eat) at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Susquehanna Valley in Northumberland already has provided some start-up funding for the program, and will be matching dollar-for-dollar the first $4,000 raised locally. Your donation will go directly to help fund our program.

Donations to help support the program can made made to the Mount Carmel Area Education Foundation.
