Tornado Buddy Bag Program

The Mount Carmel Area School District continues to spearhead a fundraising campaign in an attempt to help fund the “Tornado Buddy Bag” program for the 2018-2019 school year. The program sends home bags of food, every weekend, to needy students and families.  Students qualify for free lunch and breakfast during school days, but often don’t have any or enough food for weekends.  Your generosity allows those students to have enough to eat throughout the weekend and be more prepared to be good learners every day of the week.  Find out more information and how you can help MCA students succeed.

Donations to help support the program can made made to the Mount Carmel Area Education Foundation.

Any Tornado Alley brick purchased after May 1, 2018 will be part of our second order. The second order due date is October 1, 2018. The Mount Carmel Area Education Foundation is seeking donations to help restore operation to the planetarium to support science classes. Please consider making a small donation on our Foundation Page or you can mail checks or money orders to Mount Carmel Area School District, 600 West Fifth St. Mount Carmel, Pa. 17851 in the superintendent’s office. Any amount is greatly appreciated. Donations of
